American Cancer Society Daffodil Days

You can help save lives by giving daffodils this spring through the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days® program.Bouquets of fresh-cut daffodils will be available for a donation of $10. You can also send flowers anonymously to cancer patients in the community by donating a Gift of Hope for $25. Potted daffodil bulbs are available for $15 and a Boy\'s bear delivered anonymously to a child impacted by cancer for a $25 donation.

UMaine Extension offers a 4-week series in Waldo starting February 25. Classes will be held on Thursdays, 6:30 – 9pm. Educators Rick Kersbergen and Caragh Fitzgerald will collaborate with farmers and other experts to present this series. Novice farmers will be given the tools to evaluate and choose enterprises, develop a business plan and market their products. $50 per farm. Registration ends Feb 19. Public Supper

Elm Street Congregational Church at 31 Elm Street in Bucksport will hold a public supper on Saturday, March 13 at 5-6 p.m. in Brown Hall. The supper will feature casseroles, salads, baked beans, rolls, and homemade pies. A 50/50 raffle will take place that evening. Money raised will go into the church\'s building fund. The cost is $7.00 for adults, $3.00 for children ages 5-10 and there is no cost for children under 5.

Literacy Volunteers Fundraiser in Farmington

Katahdin Area Rotary Auction and Dinner
