Internship Opportunities
WABI TV5 will offer internships to students who can document that their school will award the student credits for the internship. The student must supply WABI TV5 with all necessary documentation from the school, and the necessary forms enabling WABI TV5 to report the intern's progress back to the school. Interested interns may inquire with WABI TV5 Human Resources Department. WABI TV5 reserves the right to accept or reject any intern applications.

Assignment Editor wanted for leading news team in the Bangor, Maine market. Good writing, news judgment, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required. Familiarity with AP ENPS news platform and Final Cut editing is preferred.

Meteorologist/Associate Producer wanted for leading news team in the Bangor, Maine market. Duties include preparing and delivering weathercasts for television, radio, website and social media. Duties also entail assisting in the production of newscasts. Weather shifts are primarily weekends on WABI TV5 and Monday through Wednesday on our CW station, as well as fill-in duties for the other shifts. It’s preferred that the candidate is familiar with Weather Central’s 3-D Live, ESP and Fusion Studio. Experience editing with Final Cut is desired. Driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
